Experience Your Mind Like an Ocean (13:32)

In many meditation teachings, our thoughts and emotions are frequently compared to waves on the surface of the sea. Ebbing and flowing into the shore – sometimes with ease, other times more turbulently. As you’re sensing your breathe in and out, you may also sense that your mind is as vast as the ocean where deep in the ocean beneath the surface, it’s calm and clear. And from that deep place in the ocean, you can look upward toward the surface, no matter what is going on in your life no matter what those conditions are, and be still.

Smiling Meditation (13:07)

A smile clears away negative energy.  Benefits of regular smile meditation include reduced stress hormones, improved mental and physical health, enhanced relaxation, and a positive outlook on life, making it an effective tool for managing chronic pain and transforming negative energies into positive ones.

Babies, Puppies, Kittens and You (7:02)

Visualizing babies, puppies, and kittens can be beneficial because their presence naturally promotes relaxation, helps you focus on the present moment, and brings you a sense of calm due to their inherent cuteness and playful nature. Babies, puppies, and kittens have absolutely no intentions in this life other than to exist.

Reflecting on that, and offering yourself the same kind of grace we readily give small, guileless babies, puppies, and kittens, can help you have empathy for your own feelings.
